For the past three years the Wedgewood Brothers have travelled Illinois and Missouri as one of the premier variety bands from Central Illinois. They have taken their high energy show as far north as Chicago and south to the Lake of the Ozarks, with dozens of stops in between. With a set list that covers a wide spectrum of genres the Wedgewood Brothers are sure to play something to please everyone.  The Wedgewood Brothers are also Nashville recording artists with the release of their self-titled debut in early 2014.

The Wedgewood Brothers’ current six man line up, consisting of three guitars and five vocalists, provides the versatility to play a wide variety of your favorite music. Within a four hour show you may hear current music from the Black Keys, to classics from Tom Petty, to country from Sawyer Brown and Yankee Grey. You will also hear the music you grew up to whether it was in the 60’s with The Beatles and The Hollies; the 70’s with Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd; the 80’s with J. Geils Band and Journey, 90’s with Alabama and Collective Soul, to the 2000’s with Jimmy Eat World and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Early 2014 brought the release of the first Wedgewood Brothers’ original music. Their self-titled debut, “Wedgewood Brothers,” shows the Brothers’ history as a variety band with songs that have varying influences. While the album is most easily described as southern rock, it is populated with elements of modern rock, blues rock, and country. The three guitars line up offers strong rhythms, layered riffs, and beautiful guitar harmonies. When layered with a driving rhythm section and complementary keys “Wedgewood Brothers” shows its instrumental complexity, which is matched by strong vocal leads and rich harmonies.

The Wedgewood Brothers will continue to tour Illinois and Missouri throughout 2014, bringing their high energy show playing a wide variety of covers in addition to their own original music.  For more information please contact us through one of the methods listed above.
