The Lincoln Land Depression Era Glass and Pottery Club's 38th Annual Show/Sale of American-made glass and pottery from the late 1920s through 1969 will be held on April 6 and 7 2013 and is held in the Illinois Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. This glass & pottery was often given away at carnivals, gas stations and the movies. It was also sold in the local 5 & dime stores. Elegant glass is also included and was sold in the better department stores and jewelry stores. The theme is "Step Back To A Vintage Wedding." Admission $5.00 Sat. from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Beginning at 10 - 5 admission is $3.00 for Sat. Sun. hours are 10 - 4 with admission of $3.00. There are 27 reputable dealers from many states who will bring their very best glass and pottery for sale. Also included is a glass grinder to grind away the small chips you may have in your glass. A food stand is also included. Come share with us and enjoy this beautiful show & sale.
