    Robert Sampson, of Jacksonville and originally from East St. Louis, loves older music of almost every genre although his main genre is blues. A multi-instrumentalist, Robert plays bass, guitar, drums, percussion, piano, organ, sax, lap steel, pedal steel, harmonica and is an accomplished vocalist. He has won competitions to compete in the Blues Foundations, International Blues Challenge six-plus times as a solo musician and as a member of a blues band.
