Info

It's not everyday that the National Chaplain of The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, is in Springfield but, Chaplain Jerry Kowalski, will be the featured speaker at a special program at the GAR Museum at 629 S. 7th Street on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 7:00pm. Prior to Chaplain Kowalski's presentation, General Thomas and the Siege of Nashville, the museum's curator, Mr. Chuck Hill, will provide a brief overview of the major discoveries that he has come across as he works to organize and catalogue the museum's largely unknown collection. The meeting is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.
