It's "A Christmas Carol" gone wrong! In "A Christmas Chaos," Theatre 7 has booked a touring
Royal Shakespeare Company to perform their stirring rendition of "A Christmas Carol."
Unfortunately, the professional company doesn't show. So, our intrepid band of actors and
technicians must put together their own production at the last minute! This farcical play focuses
on thespians doing their best while chaos reigns all around them: two actors fighting over who
gets to play Tiny Tim, a confused actor who thinks she's in another show, a haughty lead actor,
one actor playing both Bob and Mrs. Cratchit, an out-of-control director, thrown-together props
and costumes, ridiculous scenery, and tons of flubs and confusion.
"A Christmas Chaos" is directed by Jan Hooten. The cast includes Shawn Becker as the narrator,
John D. Pohling as Scrooge, Christie Linder as the Stage Manager, David Gilpin as Cratchit,
Cheryl Lawskowski as Nervous/Fred/Christmas Future, Terri Tate as Charity Lady/Mary,
RuthAnn Holmes as Christmas Past/Present/Businesswoman, Sarah Rice as Confused, Kathy
Zientara as Bob/Mrs. Cratchit, Craig Culp as Peter/Businessman, Antares Harrison as Young
Scrooge/Boy, Josie timmerman and Dakota Walker as Tiny Tims and John Dunn as Marley.
Theatre 7's 2017-18 season of "murder, mystery and mayhem" continues in February with
Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" followed by "The Murder Room" in April.
