The Animal Protective League (APL) will hold several pet adoptions during June with cats and dogs available at various locations. All animals presented by APL for have been spayed or neutered, microchipped and have received all vaccinations by the time of their adoption.

Adoptions will be held:
  
·         Saturday, June 16 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Tails to Remember Pet Services, 3036 N. Peoria Rd., Springfield; cats and dogs will also be available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. inside PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday, June 17 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 1895 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield.
 
·         Saturday, June 23 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Ace Hardware, 1600 Wabash Ave., Springfield, as part of the Junior Volunteers annual car wash; cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday, June 24 –  Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart. 
 
·         Saturday, June 30 – Cats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday, July 1 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the First Sunday Midwest Bazaar on the Menard County Fairgrounds, 18450 Fairgrounds Street, Petersburg; cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at PetSmart.

Dogs and cats are available for adoption daily from noon until 5 p.m. at the shelter located at 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield. 
 
APL, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting ill, injured and abandoned homeless animals, runs an animal shelter which is open every day from noon to 5 p.m. for adoptions. APL also coordinates cruelty investigations and humane education programs. APL also operates a low cost spay/neuter clinic adjacent to its Springfield shelter.
