This very special EVENING forum is hosted by the Citizens Club of Springfield and the State Journal-Register. A large number of local citizens have read Mr. Clifton's book The Coming Jobs War and excerpts of the book have appeared or will appear in the SJ-R Business Section on May 13, May 20, May 27, June 3, and June 10. The book is available at the City Lincoln Library and on the internet.
Mr. Clifton's visit is particularly important as the Greater Springfield area initiates a new Economic Development structure and continues cutting edge entrepreneurship activities at Innovate Springfield and UIS.
"Today's explorers migrate to the cities that are most likely to maximize innovation and entrepreneurial talents and skill," according to Clifton. "Wherever the most talented choose to migrate is where the next economic empires will rise."
The Citizens Club wants an informed, motivated community working together focused 24/7 on job creation.
PLEASE JOIN US FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY EVENING. The event is open to the public at no cost.
The future of Springfield is in our hands!
