APL sets July pet adoptions

The Animal Protective League (APL) will hold several pet adoptions during July with cats and dogs available at various locations. All animals presented by APL for have been spayed or neutered,  microchipped and have received all vaccinations by the time of their adoption.
 
Adoptions will be held:
 
·         Saturday, July 14 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Scoop Du Jour, 95 W. Plummer Blvd., Goodwill Plaza, Chatham; cats will be available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday July 15 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 1895 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield.
 
·         Saturday, July 21 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Friendly Chevrolet, 2540 Prairie Crossing, Springfield; cats will be available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. inside PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday, July 22 – Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 1895 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield.
 
·         Saturday, July 28 – Cats and dogs will be available in APL's Mobile Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Pizza Ranch, 1001 Lejune Dr., SpringfieldCats will available from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. dogs will be available from noon to 3 p.m. at PetSmart.
 
·         Sunday, July 29 –  Cats will be available from noon until 4 p.m. and dogs will be available from noon until 3 p.m. at PetSmart. 
 
Dogs and cats are available for adoption daily from noon until 5 p.m. at the shelter located at 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield.
 
APL, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting ill, injured and abandoned homeless animals, runs an animal shelter which is open every day from noon to 5 p.m. for adoptions. APL also coordinates cruelty investigations and humane education programs. APL also operates a low cost spay/neuter clinic adjacent to its Springfield shelter.
