Ice Cream Social

Peace Lutheran Church Open House Ice Cream Social Sunday, August 26 from 2-4 pm. What better way to beat the heat than an ice cream social? We are a new congregation that recently installed our first permanent pastor, Rev. Mary E. Zupansic.  Please join us at 2800 West Jefferson in Springfield and tell all your friends! We have a beautiful worship space and we want to show off our newly remodeled classrooms and offices. We will serve baked treats with the ice cream and toppings (yes, we will have sprinkles!). In lieu of a free-will offering, we are asking for a non-perishable food donation for one of our outreach ministries, the Grace Lutheran Food Pantry, because hunger doesn't take a vacation. Any non-perishable item is much appreciated, but the current need is canned soup, beef ravioli and pork and beans.
