On Saturday, April 20 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Springfield Art Association and chairpersons, Jane and Phil Locascio, will host the 9th annual Personalities Paint event. The event is being held at the Springfield Art Association located at 700 N. 4th Street.
This year’s theme promises to be 10 times the excitement, 10 times the fun and a 100 percent good time. Over 30 of Springfield’s well known personalities have generously donated their time to create 10 x 10 masterpieces.
The Art Association provides the materials and technical support and these talented individuals will provide the ingenuity and creativity.
The artists participating in this year’s event are:
Mark Birtch, Kevin Lust, Tamara Burris, Amie Meneghetti, Cass Casper, Bob Murray, Jodi Cole, Grace Luttrell Nanavati, Kim Collins, Amy Nelson, Jim Dicenso, Charles Joseph Pell, Anne Dondanville, Camille Proud, Michelle Eccles, David R. Radwine, John Eck, Bob Ritz, Suzie Fessler, Dr. Diane Rutledge, Melissa Grady Grussenmeyer, John Shafter, PJ Staab, Jordon Hammer, Tom Irwin, Angie Thuma, Don Walton, Hope School Artists, Jennifer Isringhausen, Susan Wilkey, Kyle Killebrew, Liz Willis Soldwedel, Phil Locascio, Sara Workman, Lynell Loftus, Sandra Yeh.
In addition to these personalities, the event will feature artwork from several of Springfield’s professional artists including Bill Crook, Charlie Houska, Felicia Olin, Sheri Ramsey and Janet Seitz Carlson.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at the Springfield Art Association or at the door. All proceeds for this fun-filled evening go to the programs and operations of the Springfield Art Association. The event is open to the public.
