Pleasant Plains High School proudly presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat November 12-14. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. each night and 2:00 p.m. matinee both Saturday and Sunday.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the first collaboration between Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Bible's Book of Genesis. With its family-friendly storyline, universal themes, and catchy music, it’s one of the most popular shows in musical theater.
The spotlight shines on PPHS seniors Josh Davis as Joseph, both Claire Hanrahan and Samantha Wolle as the Narrator, and Quinton Paiva as Jacob and Potiphar. Jacob’s other sons are well played by Melissa Baker, Alicia Brandt, Kayla Cowan, Justin Coy, Andrew Hedlund, Rebekah Lange, Marcus Liberman, Clifton Mahler, Farid Musabayou, Hannah Tolan, and Iris Vermaas. Hannah Siehr, Micalister Stash, and Tess Tyler lend their vocal talents as Jacob’s wives, and Torie Bennett and Kevin Aldridge each add a touch of humor to their respective roles as Mrs. Potiphar and the Pharaoh. The chorus, consisting of Audrey Holmes, Katie Ingram, Hannah Koehler, Doug Nickelson, Sabrina Salvacion, and Mitch Watson complete this large cast of nearly thirty Plains students.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors. Call (217) 626-1044 or email Dale Mason at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
