Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to Campus Visit Day at Lincoln Land Community College on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 18. The free event will be held at the LLCC Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, with two sessions scheduled, 10 a.m.-noon and 5-7 p.m.
"We welcome all individuals interested in learning more about our excellent academic and career training programs," says LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. "Family members are also invited. Get ready to explore your future at LLCC!"
Both morning and evening sessions feature information on how to enroll and pay for college, presentations by current students, and tours of the state-of-the-art Workforce Careers Center and Sangamon and Menard halls. Visitors can view exhibits and speak with LLCC representatives, take a short career assessment, apply for admission and get assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Refreshments will be provided and feature baked goods from LLCC Culinary Arts.
